Start a Newcomers Meeting

We would encourage our regular members to consider starting up a Newcomers meeting in their area or virtually to open that door to those still suffering from this disease. We are providing a suggested guideline meeting script here to get things started.

We would encourage each group to download and modify this script to better suit their meeting’s needs.

Here is a link to OA’s Guidelines for a Newcomers Informational Meeting. You may wish to use these suggestions before or after a regular OA meeting or during an OA meeting if the newcomer would like to move to a separate room for a short informational meeting.
